Behind the BOLD Commercial Interior Design: Vibrant and Dynamic Great Room in Jakarta Barat
When it comes to Commercial interior design in jakarta barat, blending patterns and colors is one of my favorite creative challenges. Recently,We had the pleasure of designing a lively great room and dining area that truly stands out.
Embracing Bold Colors
For this project, the color scheme is vivid and playful. We chose a palette featuring greens, pinks, and blues, complemented by accents of white, black, and gold. The result is a modern yet soft aesthetic. Initially, the homeowner’s preferences seemed understated. However, the inspirational photos she selected revealed her fondness for bold colors and modern lines.
Balancing Act with Neutrals
Incorporating bright colors requires a thoughtful approach to balance. To achieve this, I used white and black as neutral tones. The black wood bookcase, for example, provides a striking backdrop for colorful books and decorative items. Additionally, we introduced accents in contrasting colors like red to add depth and dimension. By retaining and enhancing the existing bookcases, we optimized the budget while maximizing impact.
Art as a Focal Point
The vibrant colors extend to the walls through striking artwork. We opted for large-scale, bright pieces to create a gallery-like feel on the tall, creamy wall. This approach adds an unexpected, joyful element to the space.
Timeless Appeal
A common concern is whether a bold color scheme remains timeless. I believe it does, as long as it reflects the homeowner’s personality rather than fleeting trends. In this design, classic elements such as clean-lined upholstered armchairs and an art deco rug are elevated by the bright colors, showcasing the homeowner’s modern and playful style.
Final Thoughts
Ultimately, every detail in this room contributes to a dramatic yet practical environment. The result is a space that’s not only stylish but also livable. Our client is thrilled with the outcome, and we are too!
